📣 Get a Simple Marketing Plan in Place

Paragraph Line Break

✓ You’re overflowing with ideas but lacking a clear plan.

✓ Right now, you’re doing bits of everything without consistency.

✓ Start by choosing one platform to focus on, post once a week, and repurpose content you already have. Simple steps that make marketing feel lighter.

Where you’re at right now:

You’ve got so many ideas. Maybe even a running list in your phone or a notebook packed with scribbles. One day you’re trying to post on Instagram, the next you’re fiddling with a blog draft, then you get inspired to start an email list… but nothing ever feels finished or consistent.

Right now, your marketing probably feels like this:

  • You post in bursts of energy when inspiration hits, but then disappear when life and business get busy.

  • You second-guess everything: “Is this even the right platform for me? Is anyone paying attention?”

  • You spend time creating, but you’re not sure it’s actually moving the needle toward more leads or sales.

  • Instead of feeling confident, marketing often feels like guilt. Yet another thing you should be doing, but don’t have the time or energy for.

… That’s exhausting. No wonder you feel stretched thin.

But guess what? This isn’t failure. This is what it looks like when a passionate business owner is trying to figure things out while juggling everything else. It shows that you care about showing up. You just haven’t found the system that makes it sustainable yet.

Online Entrepreneur

👋 Hi, I’m Kate Malcolm!

Kate Malcolm

I’m the founder of Bloom Digital, and I help small business owners make their websites, marketing, and online presence feel way less overwhelming (and a lot more fun).

After moving from England 🇬🇧 to Canada 🇨🇦 and building my own online business from scratch (course launches, podcasts, viral moments and all) I realized my sweet spot is blending creativity with strategy and turning the “ugh, tech stuff” into something approachable and even enjoyable.

I’m here to cheer you on, simplify the noise, and help your business grow online in a way that actually fits you.

Here’s your pep talk:

First off, huge pat on the back for even being here. 🎉
The fact that you took this quiz means you know there’s room for growth… and that already puts you miles ahead. Don’t forget how far you’ve come in building your business. It’s worth celebrating!

Now let’s talk about marketing. I know the word alone can feel heavy(!) Like this big, messy thing that everyone else seems to have figured out but you. But here’s the truth: marketing doesn’t have to be complicated, and it doesn’t have to drain you.

What you actually need isn’t more “content ideas” or another trendy platform to keep up with. What you need is a simple plan that makes sense for your business and feels good to follow. Once you have that, the whole game changes.

  • It can automate huge parts of your business. Nurturing leads, building trust, and making sales even when you’re offline.

  • It takes the pressure off the platforms you don’t love, and lets you focus on the ones you actually enjoy.

  • It makes showing up fun again, because you know exactly who you’re talking to and how to attract the right people for you.

And the best part? Once you’ve got a simple, doable plan in place, you’ll finally have the breathing room to show up consistently, without second-guessing yourself.

So if you’ve been procrastinating or beating yourself up about “not doing enough,” let’s just take that weight off your shoulders right now. You’re not behind. You’ve already built so much, and this is simply the next step to helping more of the right people find you.

Get Started

Here are 5 things you can do this week to start bringing order to the marketing chaos:

1.

Get Curious About Your People

It’s easier to create content based on what you feel like posting or what the algorithm seems to reward that week… But the most effective marketing starts with understanding your audience.

👉 Take 10 minutes and ask yourself:

  • What are my ideal customers confused, worried, or stuck on right now?

  • What transformation / result / goal will they achieve when they work with me?

  • What questions do they ask before they hire me?

When you create content that answers these types of questions, your voice becomes more trusted, helpful and personal. This is the foundation of marketing that attracts the right people, not just more people.

2.

Choose One Platform to Focus On

Right now, you might feel like you “should” be everywhere: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, blogging, emails… It’s exhausting just to list them.

👉 But my advice? You don’t need to be everywhere (yet!) You just need to show up consistently in one place where your ideal customers already hang out.

  • If your audience is visual and loves storytelling: Instagram.

  • If they’re more professional: LinkedIn.

  • If you want to build long-term relationships: Email.

Pick your platform and commit to showing up once a week. That’s it. Simple, sustainable, and way more effective than spreading yourself thin.

3.

Repurpose Your Content

You don’t have to start from scratch every time you post. That blog post you spent an hour writing? Pull out three quotes and turn them into Instagram graphics. That FAQ you answered for a client? Turn it into a short LinkedIn post. That Instagram caption that did well? Copy and paste it into an email.

Repurposing saves you time and gives your audience multiple ways to connect with your message. Instead of constantly chasing new ideas, you’re letting your best ones shine in more than one place.

4.

Create a Content Theme

Content themes give you a repeatable structure so you never have to wonder what to post. Think of them like categories you rotate through.

👉 For example, if you’re a wellness coach:

  • Mondays: Quick tips

  • Wednesdays: Client stories

  • Fridays: Behind-the-scenes

That’s three buckets. Easy, repeatable, and flexible enough to mix things up when you want.

By setting themes, you take away the guesswork, and your audience starts to recognize and look forward to your rhythm.

5.

Think in “Stages”, Not Posts

Instead of asking “What should I post today?”, try thinking about where your audience is on their journey with you.

Some people are just discovering you.
Some are warming up.
Some are ready to buy.

👉 A simple way to plan content is to rotate between:

  • Awareness (introducing who you are + what you do)

  • Trust (sharing tips, stories, and proof)

  • Action (inviting them to work with you)

When your content speaks to all three stages, it gently guides people in the right way, without feeling pushy or salesy.
