From London, England 🇬🇧 to Port Perry, Ontario 🇨🇦
In 2017, I moved from the UK to Canada after falling in love with a Canadian while backpacking in Thailand. Romantic? Yes. Easy? Not even close.
I landed in Ontario and struggled hard to rebuild my life from scratch (new friends, new career, new everything). I started sharing the honest ups and downs online… and I quickly realised thousands of people felt the exact same way.
That’s how The Newcomer Collective was born.
What started as storytelling turned into:
a social media following of 25,000+ people
a podcast that reached the Top 10 in 50 countries with 210,000+ downloads
in-person and virtual sold-out events.
digital products (including a guided journal and online course)
media features by Narcity Canada, BlogTO, and interviewed live on CBC News Network
And somewhere in the middle of all that, I realised something big…
I want to help others build meaningful businesses and make a big impact online.
