What ONE Thing Should You Tackle Next to Boost Your Business Online?
✨ Share Your Expertise in a Bigger Way
✓ You've been dreaming about launching a course, membership, digital download, or podcast…but you're not sure where to start.
✓ Between client work, life, and the techy stuff, your idea keeps getting pushed to the bottom of your to-do list.
✓ Start by choosing one client problem to solve, select the simplest format, and test out your idea on your current audience.
Where you’re at right now:
You've had this idea for a while now. Maybe it's a course, a membership, a digital download, a podcast, or something you can't quite put your finger on yet. You know you have knowledge that could help more people beyond 1:1 services… but turning that idea into something real feels like a huge mountain to climb.
Right now, you might:
Keep saying, "I'll start once things quiet down." (But somehow they never do.)
Feel overwhelmed by all the platforms, tech, and advice telling you what you "should" create.
Worry that no one would actually buy it, so you never quite get started.
Wonder if you're "expert enough" to package your knowledge and charge for it.
And honestly? It's not because you're not capable.
It's because you're already busy serving clients, running your business, and wearing a hundred different hats! Building something new takes time, strategy, and confidence. And when you don't know the next step, it's so much easier to keep putting it off.
👋 Hi, I’m Kate Malcolm!
I’m the founder of Bloom Digital, and I help small business owners make their websites, marketing, and online presence feel way less overwhelming (and a lot more fun).
After moving from England 🇬🇧 to Canada 🇨🇦 and building my own online business from scratch (course launches, podcasts, viral moments and all), I realized my sweet spot is blending creativity with strategy and turning the “ugh, tech stuff” into something approachable and even enjoyable.
I’m here to cheer you on and help your business grow online in a way that actually fits your business, your budget and your life.
Here’s your pep talk:
First off, huge pat on the back for even being here. 🎉
The fact that you took this quiz means you know there’s room for growth… and that already puts you miles ahead. Don’t forget how far you’ve come in building your business. It’s worth celebrating!
Now here's something I want you to hear: If you've been thinking about creating a course, membership, podcast, digital download, or any other brilliant idea for months (or even years), that dream probably isn't going away… And that's a good thing!
It doesn't mean you need to quit your client work tomorrow or spend the next six months locked away building a course. It simply means there's another way your business could grow when you're ready.
The tricky part isn't usually the idea. It's finding the time, figuring out the tech, and knowing where on earth to start(!) That's exactly why so many business owners keep putting it off.
I know this because I've been there.
Before launching my own course and podcast, they both lived in my head for far longer than I'd like to admit. Once I stopped trying to make everything “perfect” and just focused on the next step, everything became so much more manageable.
…Because you don't need to have the whole thing mapped out before you begin.
Start with one idea. One problem you can solve. One tiny step this week.
You might be surprised how quickly that thing you've been talking about for years starts to feel real.
Get Started
Here are 3 simple things you can do this week to finally get your idea moving:
1.
Schedule a CEO Date with Yourself
Block out one hour in your calendar this week that's just for your big idea. Treat it like a client appointment: You wouldn't cancel on them, so don't cancel on yourself.
👉 Action item:
Open a blank page and finish these sentences:
“This product or offer will help [WHO] to [solve what PROBLEM or achieve what RESULT].”
“These are the steps or offers I will take them through to get there […..]”
2.
Make the First Version Smaller
Your first version does not need to contain everything you know. A huge course could begin as a one-time live workshop. A membership could start as a four-week small test group. A big download could become one genuinely useful template.
Choose the smallest version that would still help someone get your chosen result.
Smaller means you can finish it sooner, get feedback faster and avoid disappearing into creation mode for another six months.
3.
Talk to Three Real People About It
Tell three past clients, customers or ideal audience members what you’re thinking of creating. Ask whether it would help them, what they would want included and what questions they would need answered before buying.
You are not conducting a giant research project or committing to a launch. You are simply checking that the idea makes sense outside your own head… and giving yourself a reason to keep going!
